If you hadn’t already noticed, XanGo has put together a handful of Goodness initiatives designed to raise funds for a very special mission in 2010. Our officially registered 501(c)(3) charity, the XanGo Goodness Foundation, is determined to give back to the families who grow and harvest our mangosteen fruit by sponsoring next year’s Operation Smile mission to Thailand—and it’s all happening through our generous Distributors.

Today, this important initiative included waking up early and going for a run in the dark with 400 other XanGo Distributors. At 6 a.m. a thriving crowd of orange warriors made their way down the streets of Salt Lake City for the THRIVE for Goodness 5K Run/1K Walk. All the registration fees will go toward the 2010 Thailand mission—so, specials thanks to all the runners and walkers!
Remarkably, it was t-shirt weather in the early morning Utah air, and numbness was not an issue. However, for many of the traveling Distributors, the Salt Lake elevation added an additional challenge—nothing they couldn’t handle in the name of XanGo Goodness, though!
XanGo Founders Joe Morton and Kent Wood jogged along with the group, encouraging everyone in sight as they followed the many flying flags of Norway. The two of them quickly made their way to the finish line and were there to present the prizes to our winners.
