The sun hadn’t yet come up on Friday morning when a line began to form in the home of THRIVE ’09. By 7:30 a.m. it was a growing cluster of early birds. At 8 a.m. the mass was mounting quickly in the corridors. And by 8:30 a.m. a traffic jam of Distributors was chanting and cheering outside the doors.
Those who waited so patiently (and boisterously) outside were in their seats with plenty of time for the opener, and were treated to a thrilling rush of XanGo energy. Together they responded to the countdown in the only way they knew how: by chanting “XAN-GO! XAN-GO!” over and over again. So, when the clock hit zero, THRIVE came alive.

Gary Hollister led the XanGo Founders under the bright lights and out into a cauldron of thunderous applause. He presented each partner with the sincerity and care of a patriarch, and alongside them he announced his vision, saying, “I see XanGo becoming the number one wellness company in the world.”
XanGo CEO Robert Conlee faced the joyful audience next. And he had what the people wanted, sharing why he knows that XanGo will be around for a long time. He compared the Leaning Tower of Pisa with the Seattle Space Needle, because one of them has a foundation similar to XanGo’s (hint: it’s not the leaning one).
A set of unchanging principles ensures stability and success for our XanGo Distributors. Here’s the quick list:
• Category Creator—Original products create opportunities with no competitors
• Different—We stand out because we stand above
• Partnership—Our Distributors are our greatest allies
• Charity—Having a heart protects us as we protect others
• Fun—We’re not robots, and we don’t expect you to be, either
Founder & Board Member Kent Wood followed his old softball teammate and current business partner with heaps of praise—which he placed right where it was most deserved: on our XanGo Distributors. As Kent repeated a few times, “nothing significant happens in this company without the input of our Distributors.”
Next, it was the Million Dollar Club who went out and made sure their Distributor friends were getting the recognition they deserve. They started with the pre-1Ks and recognized straight up through the 20Ks. And, never ones to forget their own, they also welcomed the newest members of the Million Dollar Club on stage to join their ranks.
XanGo 500K Sherman Unkefer introduced 100K Rui Ludovino to the front for a brilliant bit of story sharing. Rui came out and immediately started signing autographs for his appreciative fans before taking them through the impressive journey of an exemplary leader who seized his golden opportunity.
Next, Founder & Board Member Joe Morton introduced 100K Distributor and industry expert Mary Spoelstra to the THRIVE world so she could encourage everyone, in her words, to “don’t be a holdout—be an all-out.”
Founder & Board Member Bryan Davis focused on the opportunity—specifically the XanGo opportunity—and even more specifically, the future XanGo opportunity and the present XanGo opportunity: “XanGo is healthy, thriving and proven.” And ending with a quote from the man himself—“It’s okay to fail. It’s not okay to quit.”—Bryan brought out the epic keynote speaker: Chris Gardner.
The next hour was pure inspirational entertainment. Chris’ story covered even more than the movie that it inspired (Pursuit of Happyness). His heart was unmistakably focused on family, responsibility and truth—all things that should be best friends to your XanGo business and your life.
As a man without schooling, the degree that brought Chris success was his PSD (someone who is Poor and Smart with a Deep desire to become wealthy.) Now, whether you have schooling or not, it’s time for you to find out what your degree to succeed will be with XanGo.
