This past weekend—June 12–14—exemplified the path XanGo has taken to success. I know for a fact that the event calendars of Aaron and Beverly reflect the busy-but-happy social business of XanGo—and my weekend plans weren’t outdone by any means in terms of excitement, enjoyment and XanGo flair.
The great weekend started for me at the home office where we held our semiannual XanGo Employee BBQ and Sports Tournament—complete with basketball, 4-square and a soccer match on XanGo Field. For the middle of an incredible summer day, we emptied out our buildings and enjoyed a potluck built around some amazing—make that legendary—grilled chicken.
After the BBQ I took off to the airport for the unveiling ceremony of the brand new jetBlue airliner, Real Blue, co-branded specially for Real Salt Lake. This plane is the first to feature an MLS franchise on its custom-painted exterior. My wife and I then had the pleasure of joining the Real Salt Lake team on the plane’s inaugural flight en route for a Saturday matchup against the LA Galaxy.
Saturday morning I awoke in the City of Angels and joined a XanGo training meeting in Torrance where host Eliseo Lee, 200K, had set up a Saturday event that culminated with many attending the RSLvGalaxy game at the Home Depot Center in the evening.
You really can’t ask for a better weekend. A wonderful balance of business and fun. Great food, great company… and an exciting road win for RSL.
