Brightening the Dark Day

The date of September 11, 2001, calls up stark and powerful memories. Lives were shattered, paradigms were altered and hope seemed to dissipate for the whole world.

Just one year later, six men chose to honor that very date with a paradigm shift of their own. Dreams ARE safe—in fact, they’re required, if we are to fulfill the grander vision of our existence. These men dared to dream, and their families supported them, and because of it the world is different.

At XanGo Headquarters in Lehi, Utah, seven years after a horrific tragedy, and six years after a bold reclamation of hope and possibility, friends old and new gathered in their Distributor meeting room to celebrate.

• Monster props to 200Ks Tom Ferrier, Dwayne Dyer and Jenny & Kauri Thompson; 100Ks John Zenes and Bruce Otterson; Premiers Daniela Raynes, John & Kami Herring and Kinau Tollefsen and their groups for PACKING the house.

• 175+ (more than 20 new prospects) just kept pouring in… “standing room only” turned into “bring in some fancy chairs, couches, ottomans (“ottomen”? hmm…) and benches for the hordes.” We propped open the doors so 30 people in the halls could enjoy.

• Kinau set the tone with a great intro and a hilarious but powerful close.

• 5K Justin Prince pointed the way to a great start with XanGo.

• Joe Morton shared an impassioned recollection of the events, circumstances and decisions that led to the founding of a company unlike any other. And by way of fueling the Glimpse frenzy, Joe’s “XanGo Juice is only half the story!” line will surely be used throughout XanGo Nation as a battle cry for what’s coming up next.

• John Godzich always crafts an on-target message that is timely, potent and absolutely engaging for everyone present. Our distributors recognize John’s well-deserved standing in the industry, and we are all flat-out thrilled to have him with XanGo (and not with anyone else! Yee-ha!).

The meeting-after-the-meeting included potluck and birthday cakes, and the folks are en fuego and going to work. (Word is that we even ran out of applications and had to ask the call center folks to print off some more…)

So happy birthday, XanGo. And huge thanks to the Founders and their families who have made it all possible. Rock on, one and all.
